How to Complete Your MDAC Application
A short guide to the steps in this website's application form.
Before You Start
MDAC is an online pre-arrival registration for foreign visitors to Malaysia, unless they fall within an official exempt category. It is separate from a visa. Check who is exempt first, and have your passport and travel bookings ready (see the information you need).
The traveler's trip must be within 3 days, including the date of submission, so plan to complete MDAC in the days just before you travel.

Enter traveler and passport details
Enter your name, date of birth, sex, nationality, country of birth, passport number and passport expiry date exactly as they appear in your passport.
Enter contact, travel and accommodation details
Add your arrival and departure dates, your mode of travel, the country you are coming from, your flight or transport number and where you will stay in Malaysia.
Review carefully
Compare every entry with your passport and bookings before you continue: name, passport number, dates, email address and address.
Submit within the correct window
Complete and submit your application so that the trip is within 3 days, including the date of submission. Keep the confirmation that this website provides, and keep your passport ready for the immigration counter.
